Fish for Garbage

A team is standing in front of a banner for Fish for Garbage, where Escapod employees team up with Fish for Garbage to clean the Weber River.

Fish For Garbage is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that mobilizes communities through waterway cleanups and watershed education.

Originally formed in 2015, a group of anglers and outdoor enthusiasts noticed the significant amount of trash littering stream banks and lakeshores of popular fishing locations.

They began encouraging anglers to collect garbage in their net when walking out of a fishing destination and taking the time to have conversations with their friends. The organization has grown from these small acts of stewardship to hosting localized events to clean heavily used waterways and promote watershed health.

Just in five years, Fish for Garbage has incorporated as a nonprofit to expand our cleanups across the state of Utah and beyond, as well as positively influence youth through education. To help take action on this problem, Escapod participates with Fish for Garbage for a Waterway Cleanup on the Weber River every year.

Escapod Ambassadors

A couple stand in front of a Storm Grey TOPO2, a custom adventure teardrop trailer, by Escapod Trailers, in front of trees with fall leaves.

Our customers are off on incredible journeys with their Escapods, where they encounter admirers and get to show off their trailers everywhere they go.

Our Escapod Trailblazers are able to tell a unique story, that we want to hear and be able to share with the rest of the Escapod community. They've experienced the joys of being able to hit the road in their TOPO2s and learned tips and tricks to make camping even easier.

Our Pod Guides, give potential customers the opportunity to view a trailer in a location that is more convenient for them if making the trip to Utah isn't in the cards.

With both types of ambassadors, we are able to grow our community by bringing the trailer closer to home for potential customers and being able to tell stories from our customer's points of view.
